Supernegro Video Pick: Underdog
Since delving into The Dirtbombs’ Ultraglide in Black – a rock and roll tribute disc covering Mick Collins’ favorite funk and soul songs – Underdog, a remake of Sly & The Family Stone’s track of the same name, has quickly become one of my favorites. The sound isn’t quite up to snuff – it’s a YouTube clip after all – but I suggest downloading the song for the full effect of the band’s energy. Great remake of a classic. – Jay Wilson
